À Nevermore Academy, les tensions montent entre les "normies" et les êtres surnaturels. L’école est un lieu de rencontre unique où des créatures telles que les psychiques, vampires, loups-garous, êtres de l’eau, gorgones, métamorphes, nymphes, et demi-dragons coexistent dans un fragile équilibre. Protégée par un personnel aux compétences remarquables, l'académie tente de maintenir un climat de paix et d'harmonie entre ses élèves aux pouvoirs divers.

Cependant, un groupe de chasseurs rôde près du périmètre de l’école, prêt à éliminer les êtres qu’ils jugent dangereux. Certains adolescents, partisans des chasseurs, se sont infiltrés à Nevermore dans le but de repérer les cibles à abattre. L’école est désormais en état d’alerte, et les étudiants se méfient les uns des autres, sans savoir qui pourrait être un espion en mission secrète.

Au même moment, à l’intérieur des murs de Nevermore, un mystérieux élève anonyme lance des rumeurs cinglantes, détruisant les réputations et semant le chaos. Le mystérieux “propagateur” semble jouer sur les peurs et tensions déjà existantes, rendant la situation encore plus explosive.

Face à cette menace invisible, un groupe d’élèves déterminés, l’Ordre des Belladones, entreprend de percer le mystère et de dévoiler l’identité de celui ou celle qui tire les ficelles de cette guerre de rumeurs.
