Unfortunately, as powers are introduced, many used these powers for evil. The usual defenders of the people were no more than vigilantes. Seeing vigilantes grow in popularity, but not in the most legal of ways, the UN came together and created the Global Government Hero Association.
Pretty soon, heroes gained popularity. Hero schools and agencies started to pop up everywhere as individuals tried their best to become heroes.
Now, in 2200, Heroes have taken society by storm. This doesn't mean that villains have slacked off however. Organized crime is also rising as more people realize the problems they might have no matter how selfish. ```

Three days ago the city was cordoned off by forces from the military. The troops fenced off the roads out, seized buildings around the perimeter for use as watch towers and guard posts, and trucks rolled into town. Nobody was allowed in or out of the city, Ardonia turned into an open air prison. Next a media blackout was put into effect, only what the government allowed to be released was given out. The government said a terrorist attack had occurred, pointing to unexplained explosions the day before.
This story held, nobody thinks anything of note is going on... At least not until people began showing signs of having super powers.
The police have orders: nobody with powers is to be allowed to leave. They are to be secured, carted off, and held in custody. Those wishing to use their newfound abilities had only one choice: Get underground, hide out, and hope that maybe they can make the most of their situation.

Powers were once nothing more than myths stories of gods, legends, and the supernatural. On January 1st 2021 a strange Blue Super Moon appeared in the sky. Unlike any lunar event before it, the moon never faded. For five years it hung over the world.
Then in 2026, everything broke.
A massive pulse of unknown energy swept across Earth, instantly destroying nearly every electrical device on the planet. Communication collapsed. Governments fell into chaos. Humanity entered what would later be called The Dark Days. 3 Months of violence, desperation, and survival where people killed, stole, and betrayed each other just to live another day.
But the pulse caused something else.
Every person who had died during the five years of the Blue Moon returned to life, resurrected with supernatural abilities. These beings became known as Gravers.
It took the United States three months to restore order, rebuilding communication, trade, and security from the ground up. Even now, society remains fragile. Electricity is limited, the old internet is gone, and many countries still burn in endless conflict where powerful Gravers rule as tyrants.. worshipped as gods in broken lands.
Five months have passed since the resurrection. Two months since stability returned to the U.S.
Most people are trying to rebuild their lives. Others, miss the freedom and power the chaos gave them however. Many Gravers want to tear society back down before the world returns to the same system they once hated. Others fight to protect what remains believing order is the only thing keeping humanity alive.
The world now stands at a crossroads.
Will Gravers become humanity’s protectors or the cause of its extinction?

Meta Humans and Supervillains run amuck. In an effort to ensure the populace have a safe, orderly home the Sentinel Integration Program was created.

The **Sentinel Integration Program** was initially formed after a disaster was buried in Bastion's Edge, creating the world's first department dedicated to the handling of superheroes. Before the government decided it was too much to handle, it seemed the program actually had a grip on the city.
Despite its grim history, Bastion's Edge has remained relatively safe due to **S.I.P** efforts! Now operating by the company **Lazarus Tier**, the **Sentinel Integration Program** has grown to be our first line of defense here at Bastion's Edge. Villains, threats to our city from space, and even petty criminals all cower in the mighty face of justice and heroism.
