(18+) Invincible: Earth’s Defenders is a sandbox RP server set at the beginning of Invincible! Now celebrating our 2 year anniversary! We are 18+, semi-lit/full lit and show-based, but comic knowledge is welcome. We are open to canon characters, crossovers (especially Dispatch!) and OCs. We are focused on collaborative storytelling and character-driven roleplay. Your character’s actions and decisions will shape the server’s plot.

Note: We are currently not allowing Viltrumite OCs or Viltrumite canons other than Mark and Nolan. This is because our story takes place at the BEGINNING of Invincible and it would not make sense logically for other Viltrumites to be present!!

A Heroes Defiance

As superpowers became more and more common, more heroes and even more villains began to emerge, and while the spectacle was amazing originally, it stopped being so amazing when all the damage from constant battles began to add up. Eventually, everyone simply had enough, and thus, the Hero Limitation Act was passed. This act made the civilian use of superpowers illegal and forced heroes to become a specialized part of law enforcement, following the same guidelines and answering to superior officers. No more flashy battles, no more destruction. Of course, many heroes pushed back against this in court, and while certain things, such as secret identities for existing heroes, were allowed to be kept, the decision was final. Some heroes adapted to the change and followed the law; some retired from heroics in protest, with their actions moving towards politics or other ventures; and others became illegal vigilantes, choosing to fight crime on their terms how they believe they should. These vigilantes are considered criminals and are to be met with necessary force.

This is an original superhero server inspired by but not beholden to existing media like Marvel, Dc, Invincible, the boys, and dispatch join and be a part of a wider narrative where you get to be a hero or a villain

🌆 WELCOME TO NEW AVALON — THE AGE OF ENHANCEMENT

The year is 2025. Eighteen years after the first Enhanced appeared, the volcanic island of New Avalon stands as the center of the modern world. The International Bureau of Enhanced writes the laws. The Department of Enhanced Regulation — the DER — enforces them.

Every Enhanced wears a tracking band built by Song Industries. They call it protection. Most call it control.

New Avalon is divided into three main districts:

💼 Business District — gleaming towers, the main monorail station, and Song Industries headquarters. Home to the elite and “stable” Enhanced.
⚙️ Industrial District — factories, construction zones, and smoke-filled alleys. The stronghold of Dyme, the gang behind the drug known as Amp — a serum that boosts powers or grants them to non-Enhanced.
🎰 Entertainment District — black-sand beaches, casinos, bars, and boardwalks glowing in neon. A paradise by day, a powder keg by night.
🏰 Above it all sits Fort Saker, home of Unit-8, the government’s covert strike team that handles the threats the public never hears about.

The War has ended, soldiers were returned home. Superhumans have gained the Government’s attention whether they like it or not. They were deemed the best of the best heroes and were praised for their efforts. Leaving a sour taste in many survivors mouth’s. People who weren’t super felt inferior despite also surviving with them. Despite how even many Superhumans also died in this war.

But they weren’t given the same medals. The same honors and attention. The NSA recruited many Superhumans that were in war who wished to continue their work. Because truthfully… the world outside of the glam and cameras disliked them.

Superhumans have long been puppets for the majority of human history, used to serve the people and or entertain them. They’ve been outcasts for being different from the majority. It’s a toxic mindset that lives even to this day.

The question is, how are you going to deal with this reality? Try to change their minds with good acts? Or turn your back against the world that’s slowly turning its back on you?
