This server is geared towards older syskids, precocious syskids, systeens, age sliders, and other inner youth who feel out of place in more traditional servers aimed at this demographic. Internal age is often wonky in a way that doesn't correlate one-to-one with equivalent body age or even a specific number, and we want to provide a space that accommodates for this. Like a real library, we want to be a place where people can connect with and learn from each other. We aim to treat inner youth with the dignity and respect for their autonomy that they deserve.
Demographic Info:
- Minimum body age of 18 (no maximum age), roughly a PG-13 atmosphere
- Open to plural folk of any/all origins, including those with spiritual backgrounds
- Open to kinfolk and 'tives of all kinds, including those whose source or identity is influenced by heavy or adult topics or concepts
- Singlets with similar experiences also welcome
Server Culture:
- Channels focused on encouraging play, creativity, and connections with fellow community members
- Semi-frequent events such as watch parties, games, "cats in a room"-style hangouts, and more
Server Structure:
- No formal trigger list: specific channels for heavier discussions; members are expected to manage any personal triggers on their end
- No specific "baby zone": on the server level, all headmates are allowed anywhere their account can access, and members are expected to provide supervision for any of their headmates who need it
- Serious-topic channels for discussing particularly heavy topics available to trusted members
- Opt-in adult section for discussing topics where being on adult hardware is relevant (Note: the adult section is not exempt from the general server rules)
