SWORD && SORCERY - An urban fantasy Stranger Things AU roleplay.

It was scarcely understood just like any other force of nature, and most would spend their entire lives studying it. Shortly after their discoveries, when humans began to travel, they found beings that looked human but weren’t."

Vecna’s been in hiding for about a year after he was heavily weakened by his last battle against 011 and her friends. Eddie - who had been turned into a vampire by getting eaten by demobats - had his brain infected by the hive mind, working alongside Vecna and being referred to as “Kas” by Vecna and the Mind Flayer.

The crawls have been going for a while, starting about a month after laying low from their first battle, causing Vecna to make “Kas” spy on the “intruders” and report back each time a crawl happened. However “Kas” recognizes these people….*kind of*. He’s not sure why, but they seem familiar to him.

“Kas” does as he’s told for a while. But the more he spies, the more he remembers these “intruders”. And when the “intruders” finally show up for a fight, at first, “Kas” fights alongside Vecna, but as he remembers who he is, he switches sides, fighting alongside the group where he cuts off Vecna’s hand and takes out an eye. By the end of the battle they all think he’s been defeated, even Eddie. So they leave, saving the kidnapped-kiddos and heading home.

However, after a little bit of recharging, Vecna’s back, but doesn’t have control over “Kas” anymore. So, with his only help being from the Mind Flayer, Vecna comes back and the kids start talking about Mister Whatsit again (albeit scared of him, now). The group goes back, fighting Vecna and the Mind Flayer this time, Eddie on the group’s side and Joyce getting her badass moment of chopping off Vecna’s head.

post s5. this server takes place after the events of s5 with the idea that the closing of the wormhole/upside down and ending all of the damage, everything reversed—the town, the dead, etc.

everyone retains their memories if they were directly involved in any way with the rest of the town clueless to the danger they were once exposed and affected by. :)
