Our mission is to move beyond the digital space and negotiate with small island nations (such as the Solomon Islands or Belize) to inhabit and protect ancestral land. We seek to be stewards of the earth—living off the grid, resorting to natural ways, and restoring the eco-systems we inhabit.

To be Laq-Poi is to live with intention.
The Tongue of Mek: We speak our own language, a vessel for a culture that honors the planet.
The Uncut Connection: We do not cut our hair. Every strand represents our physical and spiritual connection to the Earth. To cut it is to sever one's bond with the world that sustains us.
The Goal of Nre: We strive for the perfect state of balance between humanity and the wild.
