Barbaris, the setting of many a conflict. The flaring of tensions and it's eventual result were all part of the flow of life, as it had been since the dawn of civilization on this world. But a single, terrible war brought the world to it's knees, as the fighting went on for more than one generation and did not follow the normal pattern. The utter devastation wrought by this conflict was immeasurable, and it culminated in the founding of a nation which would prove to be vastly different than those that came before it:

The Empire State.

The State went on to conquer all nations across it's home continent. But fortunately, due to their hubris, a proper resistance was formed. The Krux rose up out of the ashesto beat the Empire into a new Status Quo. Now, a new age is dawning upon the battered world of Barbaris, one that YOU can shape. Explore the world as a nation rising up amongst the ruins. Or play as a single individual, trying to make their way through an unforgiving land, known fully as:

What we offer:


A server free of template bloat. Meaning you’ll only really need your species and nation described, NOT an entire detailed description of your military.
The lowest-end of technological advancement starts in the early 2000s IRL.
The ability to eventually colonise space and leave Barbaris itself!
The ability to play as either a new, original nation.

OR


An already existing nation, where depending on which one it is, may still give you plenty of customisation room. They range from micro state to regional powers.
The ability to play as a character, free to roam the world, taking part in its politics and events in a less direct way.
