Welcome to the Symposium, dear friend! This is a server for discussing the works of Plato, as well as Cappadocian, Christian Platonic, Neoplatonic and Pythagorean philosophy.

We intend to be an elevated fellowship for Platonists of different social backgrounds and religious affiliations. Christians, pagans, secular Platonists and inquiring seekers can all engage in dialectic together. If you just want to come and argue with us, you're welcome too.

We have a reading group, the Ammonius Society, which meets weekly to discuss the dialogues of Plato and related authors of wisdom literature. Membership is invite-only. If you’re interested in joining, message a moderator.
