No world lasts forever. Sometimes, a world is able to last until the last star has winked out- but most of the time? It's *crushed*. Maybe it's from inside, a single person, or even group, bringing down everything around them. Maybe it's because the entire world is unable to sustain itself. And maybe, just maybe, it's because someone else has reached down to *destroy it.*

Either way- Anything that remains after the destruction, from people- to ruins- to even *animals*, find themselves here.

And the Hiatus.. It doesn't *like* that. It wants to be by itself. It doesn't *like* having intruders crashing into it, wrecking havoc and *changing* things.

So it fights back. Outside settlements, where survivors have been able to stabilize the very land itself, The world *shifts*. Ground that was once steady now might not be. Fruit that was once bright and shiny now rotten. And the waters.. Well. No water is safe to swim within.

Will you survive? Or will the Hiatus snuff you out entirely?

Welcome to the Hiatus! A new roleplay server meant for those who never got to finish those stories they started in other servers. Sure, everything’s a bit *different* here, one vampire might have a completely different biology to another, but hey! That’s what makes the Hiatus what it is!
