Its 2017, After starting flashpoint, Barry Allen decided to stay with his happy life. Instead of his memories erasing, he kept them but lost all his connection to the speed force, losing his speed. While Wally West got to have his speed, Barry grew jealous and tried everything to get his speed back. He eventually gave up.

He also eventually got the love of his life, Iris West. After a while, Eobard thawn escaped the cage he was trapped in and started wrecking havoc on the city and Barry's life. He still has his speed.
