Welcome to Beyond The Stars, a retroactive roleplay server taking place within the expansive and beautiful world of Destiny. Dive into a sci-fi space fantasy experience, where you can choose your path and destiny rather that be a guardian fighting against the forces of dark to save the last of humanity, or a mercenary who's trying to survive.
Destiny takes place in a world 500 years into the future where humanity colonized Mars. On Mars they found a ancient divine construct known as the traveler. This being gave humanity a power known as “The light” a supernatural force which exploded humanity into an Industrial Revolution allowing them to colonize nearly every planet in the entire solar system
This “Golden age” lasted 200 years until Something. Caused an event known as the collapse, where the travelers light was blacked out. Causing the darkness to be born, humanity went into the brink of extinction. Until eventually the traveler woke up again, creating the “Ghosts.” Small mechanical beings of light who went around reviving deceased humans and others to fight against the darkness making the “Guardian's.”
