Once at the heart of Skyrim’s fate, the Dragonborn has vanished into seclusion after his journey to Solstheim. The Empire falters. With Emperor Titus Mede II slain in Skyrim, the Imperial Council reels, unable to name a successor. Intrigue and infighting gnaw at the Empire’s core, its future In question.

Beyond Skyrim, new tensions ignite. Thalmor forces gather along the Valenwood frontiers, their movements threatening tamriel's peace. In High Rock, Breton lords seethe as legions are pulled from their provinces to feed the war in Skyrim, straining alliances with the nobles. A tide of change sweeps across the Continent, heralded by war and suffering. The fragile peace born of the Great War is beginning to fracture, its cracks widening with each passing day.
