Set in the aftermath of the Cold War...
Alas, the Republic's Great Hero has been vanquished. So close to his ultimate victory against the Sith, his dream of eternal peace won't see the light of day. Despite this tragedy, war rages on within the galaxy. The Sith won the battle for their survival. Now, they push back against the Republic's might. Peace appears unobtainable so long as the Republic or Empire live on.
Shadows lie in wait, stars shine brightly, hope lives on... while death awaits all.
This server seeks to craft our storylines with original characters. Though the events may seem the same as they transpired in the events of the Old Republic, the future of our galaxy is entirely dependent on our players. We aim to focus on our RP Community, and the primary goal is for everyone to have a memorable time together. Any new perspective is welcome, and we will always make sure to hear you out.

Perished Dreams is a breathe of fresh air in a sea of servers where you might be used to constraints and specifics. Ever since I joined everyone's been friendly, the community has a banterous and friendly atmosphere, the bad apples I have witnessed have barely been retained as memory. Given the servers past , its amazing how far its come and how those who are still in it have developed.
The staff are consistent, they are open-minded in both universe and in the server community itself. They allow you to create and develop your character into what you want them to be, they're open to a lot of things, even if they're not particularly logical or clever. They let you make your own decisions, suffer with the consequences and get out of them.
As someone who hops servers a lot, and someone who consistently finds extreme negativity and problems in servers, spending not a lot of time within them. Perished Dreams has been excellent, I've found no true problems that have pushed me away. All of my issues I've presented have been acknowledged and appropriately dealt with. The staff are young, but they've shown me a maturity and understanding that people twice their age don't have in servers ten times its size.
I'm happy to be a part of a community that helps me bring my characters to life, experience and develop them with other writers, as well as escape from my woes when I come home.
