𝗕est 𝗔pocalypse 𝙀𝙑𝙀𝙍!!!

March 12th, 20XX.
The Outbreak began with a “Miracle”.

The Biotech company known as Helix released a regenerative serum designed to heal damaged tissue and reverse medical death. For approximately 72 hours, the world rejoiced. Come the 73rd hour, it died. Despite the numerous precautions and decades of testing, something went wrong. Those healed by the serum, or those unfortunate enough to be in contact with the fluids of them post-injection, would mutate and change.

Within an hour, the ratio of humans to infected would be 1:6, and growing. Unlike what the world had prepared for, attributes of the diseased varied too greatly. Theorized to be rooted of their past ailments, they would be promptly categorized. Fortunately, fatality rates have dwindled in the past week of the apocalypse.
