It is 1985.
After a hardline coup within the Popular Liberation Front, the People's Democratic Republic of Spiratia (1969-1992) has entered a new era of political repression, militarization, and ideological struggle.

Four years into a insurgency in two of its provinces since 1981, the PDRS faces domestic unrest, foreign interference, espionage, and Cold War tensions as socialist, capitalist, and non-aligned powers compete for influence across Asia.
