...
Once, there were witches.
Trees were hung with sage and string, glyphs engraved in the wood of the largest tree around. Laughter around the fire pit as men and women exchanged spells drawn in ink on parchment, each different and each beautiful. Songs choked with spells, flames erupting from the mouth of the passerby Bard.
Once, there were witches.

The tree no longer stands. Witches have been eradicated from parts of the world. Where there used to be beauty, there is anything but. Hunters roam in the mage's land now- decimating the forests and building villages and cities where nature thrived.
However, witches are a natural force. No matter how many you burn or kill, more will pop out of the woods. Because becoming a witch is not genetic, it is a *mental* state.
Only after a person has been through severe enough trauma, magical abilities will appear. No one knows why this happens. Most people try to avoid this, avoid becoming ridiculed and tortured for their powers.

But what if you could manufacture these witches? What if you could create the most powerful, most dangerous and volatile witches?

The Hunt Begins is a fantasy killing game server inspired by Delicious in Dungeon, Witch Hat Atelier, Slay The Princess and YTTD!
