Welcome to Korothios
The year is 1000 CR. Four centuries have passed since the fall of the mighty Rutherik Empire. Its roads still cross the continent, its ruins still dominate the landscape, and its legacy still shapes the ambitions of kings, nobles, merchants, priests, and adventurers alike.
But the Rutheriks were not the first great power.
Long before them came the Age of Gods.
Ancient divine empires ruled Korothios for millennia until their wars shattered continents, broke civilizations, and culminated in a cataclysm known as **The Breaking**. The gods vanished, one of the world's moons was destroyed, and the old world was buried beneath ruin and legend.
Now, a thousand years later, the world has recovered but countless mysteries remain hidden beneath forgotten cities, ancient temples, and lost fortresses.

the server is newer, so it's a great opportunity to bring your own ideas. very sandboxy. everyone's been friendly in my experience, and while activity levels vary because it's still growing, it has a lot of potential. the owner and mods are super helpful when it comes to making characters that fit naturally into the setting, and there's a wide variety of literacies, so it's pretty easy to find people you enjoy writing with.
