Crescendo is a horror fantasy roguelike rpg with content meant to set are game apart from others while also adapting and incorporating what fantasy and roguelike players enjoy the most. Every month thousands of dollars go into this game to hire some of the best devs long term to not only keep consistency but also style. The game has lore that runs deep into every unique item as well as boss or place. The main game is broken into 9 maps known as the 9 main realms of Byssa. their divided based on allegiance. The bottom 4 realms are known as the Shadowlands and are home to monstrosities of your wildest nightmare. While in contrast the upper 4 realms are grouped with the name Nevena. This place in contrast is home to the more pure of heart divine beings. Crescendo is a horror fantasy roguelike rpg with the intent to fight off the evil corrupting the world. But as we know not everyone wants to save something, that's why we incorporated the option to join the ranks of the Shadowland to instead fight to corrupt more of the realms. As for the combat in Crescendo, it follows a parry trade type combat with "magic". In my game magic is called essences and we strive away from the typical means of elements and instead also use concepts. An example of 2 concepts would be the Negative Essence, or even the Famine Essence. Now to take it a step further, players love combat but what they love more are modes. Each essence has their own modes that are broken into 3 categories to bring diversity to modes. But what if that wasn't the end? Crescendo offers mega modes under the name "Arts". Arts are essentially when corresponding essences are capable of working together and make avatar like mega mode states temporarily. This is a community game with the intent to put player decisions to how the game will run in the future. Likewise since it is an original concept we are granted the creative freedom to do whatever we want as well as allow player suggestions for new content.
