Welcome to Embrin! Located in New York with an interesting mix of 80's Tokyo and 90's NYC... This story takes place in a world where supernaturals coexist with humans within humanity. Beginning in the late 1800s, a battle took place where the Lord of the Void challenged Luminis, the Light goddess and creator of Earth's universe. Wounded, Xenthar fled the battle and shapeshifted to live among the mortals of earth. Over the years, Xenthar was worshipped by his cult, the Voidwalkers, as he built a corporate empire with plans of dominating the working class. Vortex Inc. bought out every business that came its way. What you wear, what you eat, your entertainment, your car, even your house is owned by Vortex Inc. This company is incredibly trusted by the public, because absolutely nothing could go wrong when one company owns 𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘺𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘨
