I decided to come on here to clear some things up. This server is by FAR one of the best servers I’ve ever been in. The mod team is fair and kind, and they know how to moderate. They give everyone an equal chance, and I love how the characters are made. They are thorough in details and everything is organized to a T. It truly is like a family.
I would especially like to point out the server owner. She is truly easy to talk to and knows how to manage the server.

I've been in a lot of group roleplay servers, and this is one of the few where the sense of community actually feels consistent. I'm not always the most active person due to med school, but every time I come back, I'm never made to feel out of place or like I've missed my chance to integrate. People are always open to picking things back up or starting something new, which makes a huge difference!
The atmosphere is also effortlessly friendly, and that goes for both the members and the mod team :) The staff has clearly put a massive amount of work into making sure the server is well-organized and easy to navigate, but they still keep things approachable. There's a good balance between structure and freedom, so you feel supported without being creatively restricted, which is so rare for modern roleplay servers.
When it comes to the actual writing, the talent here is immense. Everyone knows how to have genuine fun with their prose, and the events are a total blast. It's honestly surprising how well everyone's characters click together no matter how new; people are so skilled at building on each other's ideas and keeping the humor natural. If you're looking for a high-energy and deeply welcoming place to write, this is absolutely it! It's just a really fun place to write, whether you're super active or popping in and out like I do.

The server ad states they're willing to "listen and evolve with their members," but that is inaccurate.
Prepare for an exclusionary experience in this server. Admins prioritize their OCs in group settings, making it impossible for newcomers to join without being attacked. Clique behavior is abundant throughout the server: staff team + their favorites are the stars of the show.
The submission process is painful. Staff nitpick submitted OCs until they fit their server’s narrative, resulting in a different character than you envisioned. They also struggle to differentiate the OC from the chosen FC, especially if the FC is queer. If the OC isn’t queer, you’ll be asked to change the FC or face a guilt trip from a staff member who takes the frustration of the situation personally.
If you don’t connect with every writer and OC, you’ll be called racist and blamed for other writers’ non-responses, despite the concern shared with staff being unrelated to connections but rather the uninviting nature of their OCs.

Hi! We're genuinely sorry that your experience in the server felt this way, even if it doesn't reflect how the server operates as a whole.
We want to clarify a few things for transparency. Our server is built around collaboration, and we actively encourage mutual effort when it comes to building connections. In your case, multiple members did reach out to you, but interactions were often met with limited engagement or no follow-through, which made it difficult for plots to develop naturally.
We also do not tolerate clique behavior. Our goal has always been to create an open and welcoming space, and we've had many new members integrate smoothly with established characters through proactive and mutual plotting. We actively encourage members to branch out and connect beyond familiar circles.
As for your last paragraph mentioning your friend's case, we simply noticed that their outreach was primarily directed toward a very specific demographic of characters, particularly white male characters for romantic dynamics. While everyone is absolutely free to pursue the plots they're interested in, this naturally narrows the range of interactions available. Initially, we assumed this was coincidental, but the pattern remained consistent, so it's not accurate to frame the lack of connections as an issue with the server itself, nor the members themselves.
We take inclusivity seriously, and we do not label members unfairly. Concerns are handled privately and with care.
Regarding submissions, our goal is never to change anyone's character, but to help align them with the shared setting so they can thrive in long-term storytelling. The same applies to faceclaim guidance, which is rooted in respectful and realistic representation, not personal preference or pressure.
We understand that not every space will be the right fit for everyone, and that's completely okay. We do wish you the best in finding a community that better matches what you're looking for!
