"Centuries ago a divine artifact broke into four pieces. Each Kingdom taking on to protect or weaponize them. While one was kept for a group called “The Keepers” to watch over. Each Kingdom now is assigned a person from this group to help protect and guide their use of their Shard.
The shards gave their already strong magical lives more power and prosperity. Without them the Kingdoms would fall. If one claimed all of them who knows what were to happen."
