DARK STAR: VAGRANT

By the mid-23rd century CE, humanity has reached the age of interstellar travel and frontier, venturing out and building settlements in outer space. This was made possible by the development of early black hole engines and FTL(faster-than-light) travel. In the year 2223 CE, however, the home of humanity was forever lost to a tragic accident. A black hole opened and swallowed up the planet earth and solar system. Ironically, this led to the discovery of the subatomic particle, umbrons, and the great stride in technology.

Now the year is 371 GE (galactic era) and human civilization has not only rebuilt but also significantly expanded their reach. Umbral technology solved many problems for humanity but birthed fresh new trouble. But the daily life of ordinary people largely remains the same; they gotta earn a living somehow and find their own path in this ever-confusing never-ending galactic life.

So buckle your belt and put on a spacesuit, spacer! We’ve got work to do, worlds to explore and galaxy life to live.
