It's been like almost 7 months since I've been a member of Overlook, joined the server when it was basically new. From those few first days since joining I knew it was a cool enough place, I still felt a bit iffy though because I thought the people that were already there before me were already a clique. And boy was I wrong, they were really inclusive, I never felt left out and people there are very easy to talk to and they are very accommodative. They were patient with me of course, and they made it easy for me to fit in. When it comes to character development, they're ready to help, so that your character grows in a way you envision, I speak from experience.
Overlook for me has been and still is a fun experience, and dare I say it's one of my top 3 servers, it's not #3 and it's definitely not #2, pretty sure you get what I'm saying by now. When you go there, let your creative side loose, trust me, it'll be reciprocated because I have been writing with awesome writing partners, how I know they good is that the reciprocate to my writing well and I try my best to do the same as well. It's an awesome space to be in.
If or when you join Overlook and see a guy sending you GIF of Doakes, don't take it the wrong way, that's the greatest guy you'll ever meet there, in fact he's so great he's basically the glue of the server, without him, all will be lost, it would be apocalyptic. Jokes aside though, Overlook is an awesome space, you'll definitely enjoy it, I guarantee that, hopefully this review and the others help convince you in becoming an Overlookian/Overlooker (I forgot what we are called😂), but nonetheless, you'll enjoy yourself there.

My Overlook Experience

Admittedly, I am not one for writing reviews. However, Overlook deserves the recognition, and therefore, I am acknowledging that by putting in the effort to do so.
Although I haven't spent long in the server, it is the experience that has kept me around and endlessly devoted. From the welcoming, warm community that will happily talk to you and make you feel like you've been among them for weeks rather than days, to the understanding and accommodating staff team that is there, willing to hear your concerns and ensure that your time in Overlook is a great one.
If you decide to join Overlook and give us your characters to adore, I'd dare say that you will not regret it. From collaborating with excellent writers and being involved in some fun, casual events, your character will make meaningful, compelling connections, and their story will blossom amongst the other citizens of Overlook County.

Words can’t even describe enough what I think about Overlook. It’s a welcoming, open community with great admins and ever greater diversity of people. You can be whoever you want to be, walk the life you want within this space of freedom and you’re always accepted, there isn’t anything that makes you feel unsafe. I joined in February and I am never leaving. It’s one of the better Discord roleplay servers, aesthetically wise and organized wise. I love it here. I love the community, I love the drive of everybody in the community and I love to be a part of it.💜
