Dinosaur fact:

Diplodocus was a massive, long-necked herbivorous dinosaur that lived around 150 million years ago during the Late Jurassic period. It could grow up to 90 feet long, with over half of that length coming from its incredibly long neck and whip-like tail. This dinosaur had peg-like teeth located only at the front of its mouth, perfect for stripping leaves off branches. Its nostrils were on top of its head, and scientists believe its tail may have been used for defense or making loud cracking sounds, like a whip, for communication. Fossils have been found in North America.
