The Battle of Endor was a disaster for the Rebel Alliance. Grand Admiral Thrawn commanded the Imperial Navy and demolished the Rebel Alliance. Although Lando Calrissian succeeded in destroying the Second Death Star, Thrawn succeeded in wiping out the majority of the rebels as they attempted to escape. The remaining rebels scattered across the galaxy to be hunted by Thrawn's new empire. By the year 8ABY the few remaining members of the rebel alliance formed a new resistance. They continued building their forces in the outer rim and the unknown regions, while Thrawn forced the rest of the galaxy into submission. The Chiss Ascendacy became a major part of the New Empire influencing politics and military design. What will become of the resistance? Will they take back the galaxy or will Thrawn exterminate them and bring peace to his new empire.
