[To all remaining survivors within range of our radio broadcast, we have been made aware that the Norwich Stronghold has fallen to the Afflictions that were discovered, leaving us at Roanoke as the last bastion on the Eastern Seaboard. We know that the time since the Scourge thirty years ago has been hard... we all miss the days where the diseases at least made sense. Now, we stand against insurmountable odds, with illnesses spread through screams, nearly undetectable food blights, and what can only have been described as a zombie virus. In these nightmarish times, we would like to offer hope to the survivors of the outskirts. We are opening our doors to all who can make it, so long as they pass the health screenings.

If you have scientific knowledge or experience working in a lab, you will be accepted into our compound and given access to a high-quality lab, set to study each type of affliction, regardless of what type.

Under the circumstance that you have military training or have worked in some other combat-based occupations, we have compensation for those who would like to work as scouts or guardsmen to defend our stronghold from those who wish to destroy and infect it.

For those who are afflicted already, you may still be accepted into the stronghold depending on your resistance to your affliction and the benefits you may have for the survival of humanity. Keep in mind that you may face some restrictions in your actions to prevent the spread.
