Depuis des siècles, des guerres furent connus à travers le globe et les terres. Des conquêtes de pouvoirs par l'humanité avide de toujours plus, sans parvenir à ce satisfaire.
C'est dans ce cadre que l'Académie de Dagda fut créée, un lieu de vie et d'apprentissage pour les plus jeunes, dans un espoir de ne plus jamais laisser les erreurs du passé se reproduire.
Des années de prospérité s'en suivirent, les guerres avaient laissées derrières elles des ruines où la nature avait repris ses droits.
La forêt Némed avait été l'objet de nombreux désir, possédant un pouvoir inconnu et puissant, associé à Némed, dieu cerf. Si les Némédiens n'étaient resté que des légendes, certains clament en avoir vu pour de vrai, des hommes, mi-homme mi-cerf.
Récemment, les légendes s'étaient prouvées réelles, certaines créatures que les hommes n'étaient pas censé voir étaient retrouvées, à terre et sans vie. Leur énergie avait semblée leur avoir été drainée, leur visage pâles et ce qui les rendaient caractéristique de leurs espèce semblait éteint.
Les Fées (sídhe) perdaient leurs ailes, les Merrows et les Each-Uisge s'échouaient sur les plages et les lacs, les Lutins (Leath bhrògan) étaient retrouvés sans une pièce dans leur poche...
Les raisons semblent inconnues, pourtant, les hauts placés de l'Académie se bousculent, et les conseils se multiplient. Le Doyen semble inquiet, tout en essayant de maintenir l'ordre au sein de l'établissement.
Une chose est sûre, les choses sont sur le point de changer.

Rörke was once ruled by a forgotten civilization known only as The Empire De Rörke. Thousands of years ago, its roads stretched from coast to coast, and its cities were filled with strange machines, enchanted monuments, and colossal fortresses.
Then came The Sundering.
Nobody agrees what happened.
The Norse say the gods fought in the heavens.
The Knights claim it was divine punishment.
The Karvathi teach that corrupt emperors destroyed themselves.
The Thyrakons believe weakness infected the Empire and caused its fall.
Whatever the truth, the Empire shattered. Cities burned, coastlines changed, and entire regions became wastelands. For centuries, Rörke descended into chaos.
Out of that darkness emerged the Four Kingdoms.

The most common theory is that the plague originated in a buried Imperial ruin.
Centuries ago, the Empire De Rörke experimented with strange combinations of alchemy, magic, and biological engineering. One project sought to create soldiers who could survive mortal wounds and continue fighting.
The project failed.
Or perhaps it succeeded too well.
Deep beneath an ancient fortress-city, something remained dormant for thousands of years.
Then explorers opened the wrong door.
How It Reached Rörke
Aurelmont miners discovered a sealed Imperial vault beneath the Golden Plains.
Inside were:
Crystal containment chambers.
Ancient military records.
Preserved corpses wearing impossible armor.
The corpses appeared dead.
Weeks later miners began suffering strange fevers.
The first victims died.
Then they stood back up.
The Church declared it necromancy.

Many of these regions contain secrets that are up to any adventurer to unveil. Arcanis houses dungeons that travelers can venture out into and obtain great treasures that may aid in one’s quest.
The lands of Arcanis aren’t known only for their environment: factions and settlements have been built in order to gain political standing over Arcanis itself; the growing desire for more land has both caused violent conflict between factions and brought others together.
The choice to become something great is up to anyone willing to pursue it. Many civilians go their entire lives without knowing what lies beyond an ordinary life. But those who strive for greatness? They can go beyond the boundaries of what has been set.

The year is 73 𝐀𝐂. Nearly thirty years have passed since 𝐀𝐞𝐠𝐨𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐔𝐧𝐜𝐫𝐨𝐰𝐧𝐞𝐝 slew his uncle Maegor the Cruel beneath the burning skies above the Gods Eye and claimed the Iron Throne for himself. The realm remembers it now as the moment House Targaryen secured its future. Well, History lied.
Though Maegor died, his blood endured through a trueborn son, Maekar Targaryen and loyalists carried the legacy of the Cruel King into the years that followed in secret, now that secret could very well became a rival dynasty to the House of the Dragon. Less than a century after Aegon’s Conquest, House Targaryen stands divided against itself.
In King’s Landing, Aegon second of his name "the Crowned" rules from the Iron Throne, seeking peace through diplomacy, marriage, and he has formed an uneasy compromise with the Faith of the Seven. Across Blackwater Bay and beyond, the blood of Maegor sits idly by all while professing loyalty to the cousin who murdered his father.
The realm stands at the height of its power. Dragons fill the skies. Valyrian blood is strong within noble courts. The great houses of Westeros remain uncertain beneath the rule of dragonlords who war amongst themselves as often as they rule over men.

➤˗ˏˋ *Averld was left scorched by the great battle that took down the Greater and Lesser Gods. Although the world was saved from destruction by its creators, most of the fauna, flora, and human life was wiped from the planet. Those that remained standing fled to the continent of Coriest due to it having the most plant life still left. That is where they started rebuilding.
Only 3 nations survived the desecration. Rusba, Kibai, and Carna are what remain of the once 5 countries. Although the world has progressed in these 50 years, it's still dangerous. Outside of the city walls lay the remains of what once was. Villages, temples, and mineshafts that now only home monsters of which no one has seen before.
Some monsters that are far more human than you'd think.*
