• What is Space Dandy?
Space Dandy is an anime series produced by Studio Bones and directed by Shingo Natsume, with chief director Shinichirō Watanabe, Watanabe is best known for Cowboy Bebop, Samurai Champloo, as well as Carole and Tuesday.
The anime follows the misadventures of Dandy, a self-proclaimed "dandy guy in space" with a distinctive pompadour hairstyle, and a "go with the flow" attitude who works as an alien hunter tasked with discovering new species for the Alien Registration Center (ARC) to earn rewards and spend time at his favorite establishment, BooBies. Accompanied by his companions: A robot named QT and a cat-like Betelgeusian alien named Meow. Dandy and crew travel space in the Aloha Oe, encountering bizarre aliens and cosmic phenomena in a largely episodic format.
