Parisiis Nocte is a Vampire the Masquerade, neonate focused v20 Dark Ages server.
The year is 1320, the seeds of the Hundred Years’ War have just been planted for the humans, but for cainites, conflict in the War of Princes has been in a stalemate across Normandy since the early 13th Century, with Mithras’ shadow slowly creeping in from the Islands. Paris, under the rule of Geoffrey and Salianna, is in a precarious balance as the Courts of Love slowly find their end.
Caen is under the ruling of the Alliance of the Elm, formed by Brujah and Gangrel to oust the Ventrue leadership it was successful, but for the past hundred years they have been faced with the risk of all out war, with skirmishes surfacing every couple of decades between it, Bayeux, and the not so far Rouen.
What’s worse, the Inquisition has grown in strength, putting every supernatural being in danger across Europe, and threatening even the Elder’s control. There is no Camarilla, there is no Sabbat, it’s a world where clans High and Low vye and politic against each other, the traditions and the ties of the blood keep the structure of the cainite world together.
There is active Homebrew in the server, with Hunting and Travel mechanics featured heavily, as well as a Homebrew Downtime Action System. We run a consent based system for PvP, have a strong policy against AI and the use of AI imagery, and personal bots for weather and scene logging. PbP with slower scene speeds, weekly XP.
The server is young and application based, so be patient while we review your application, as the starting team is small. There is a zero tolerance policy towards bigotry (the server is LGBTQ and PoC friendly).
