**The Year was 1986**
The world as we knew it slowly ground itself down into dust. In some regions it was political turmoil, others it was military conflict. The rot of the Soviet Union and the cracks in the Berlin Wall were signs of a greater change. Political activism was on the rise those years ago. Five whole years of the old world order slowly collapsing with unprecedented riots, wars, and economic ruin.

The great nations in Europe, America, and Asia were turned on their head and forced to fight like wild animals to either preserve the old way, or march to a new sound.

**The Year is 1991**
Known only as the "Great Collapse" or "Great Silence", the nations abroad began to stabilize and work their way from the rubble and rise above it. These nations are fewer, but more potent than before. Rebuilding roads, factories, and more. Most nations will be initially fronted with wrestling control from the companies, local military garrisons, and once-small political regimes in their former nation's territory. Even still, dealing with feeding their population and recovering from the Collapse's malaise.

These surviving nations will dictate the future of the world and either finish off humanity in nuclear annihilation, or strive to rebuild the delicate peace that was nearly achieved those years ago.
