Aegis industries is a corporation that employs the highest concentration of both meta-humans and empowered individuals in the city of New Sozo - a sprawling metropolis with an assortment of bustling, individual districts - all overlooked by their separate and respective protectors; all of which take an array of roles ranging from combatting street-level crimes to preventing city-wide terrorist attacks and or disasters.

However, with the sheer litany of the heroes that they hire, Aegis industries has come under scrutiny for those some of which that they employ - with a few of them having . . . 'scandalous' backgrounds, to say the least. Despite this, however, these heroes, however unorthodox, are essential for defending the city's endless expanse from everyday crooks and villains.

The story focuses primarily on those employed within the walls of Aegis Industries, which handle the middle-managed of superhero work - alongside their public image. While you may indeed create your own and be one of these heroes yourself, there is also room for those willing to take on roles behind the scenes - either as mechanics, press or even corporation owners / Hero managers themselves.
