200 years ago a calamity nearly destroyed the world population. Kingdoms were shattered. Technology and knowledge.... lost, lurking in ruins long forgotten. Those that remained were left to pick up the pieces, and start anew, forging civilizations, and growing once more for their own protection for Grimm - they never seem to disappear.

15 years ago war broke out among the Kingdoms and once again the world saw itself threatened with destruction. In order to avoid the past repeating itself, the Kingdoms called a truce and with it, a Universal Hunter Academy was formed for all Kingdoms to send their best candidates to become huntsman and huntresses - while also having their younger generation learn to coexist with one another for a brighter tomorrow - a future of tolerance.

Or so… thats what it says on paper. Human nature is fickle. Grudges and pain are not so easily forgotten. Not all come with hopeful hearts yearning for mending.
