F.A.T.E.S: A Magic School in Another World

Magic, being an innate property of life, has five ways of knowing and enforcing itself:

Faith, the way of the soul, is honed via ritual and belief.
Academia, the way of the mind, is honed via study and experimentation.
Technology, the way of the material world, is honed through tinkering and repair.
Emotion, the way of community, is honed through communication and art.
Survival, the way of the body, is honed via physical training and self control.

All ways are true, and each contributes to the whole of existence.

FATES Academy was built in part to foster the five ways, and the students that come through its halls go on to lucrative careers as clerics, wizards, technomancers, eldritch knights and so on... most do, anyway.

For the school was built with another role in mind: The Ocular Rotunda at its heart, at least once every five years, produces an additional student chosen not by the faculty, but by the school itself. And this student is not of the local provences or distant lands, but of another world entirely.

FATES is a Magical School AU for people that don't want to deal with the baggage of High Guardian Spice and Harry Potter, with heavy influences from isekai fiction. You can play as a student or as part of FATES Academy's faculty (Profesors, groundskeepers and administrators are all welcome to apply any time of year), hone your magical abilities and make the world of Sylvonia a better (or worse) place!
