Practice Your Language

I’ve taught the Dutch language in Practice Your Language for 1 year.

Today I was removed from my teaching position because of my Christian faith.

The server changed their server icon into a pride flag, which goes against Christian ethics. Because of this, I privately communicated to the admins that I’d be taking a pause from teaching there until July, because June is the month of the Sacred Heart, a month where we remember and celebrate God’s love for all people, we do not celebrate sin.

I communicated this respectfully and privately, not to cause any problems and I was removed from my teaching position, because of my faith.

The moderators and admins became very hostile to me, despite me being respectful towards all members, including them, for as long as I was a part of their community.

If you are a faithful Christian and value truth, do not enter this community.

Chill server. Very active. ~30-40 languages to choose from. Tons of resources for almost all of them. There's teachers who hold classes frequently (some daily). They even have sections for smaller and lesser known languages like Catalan and Kalaallisut. There are usually people in voice chats depending on the time of day. People are very friendly and chat often, but the primary focus is still practicing and learning.

One of the best servers I'm in. There's a nice selection of languages available (fair few more than what's listed on here) and the community is awesome and welcoming. They've helped me greatly with my learning of Spanish, Indonesian, and Turkish.
