Meat Is Murder

I'm a vegan who was looking for servers to find community, and cannot in good conscience recommend this server. The staff team has been incredibly rude and aggressive, is okay with slurs, and allows multiple people who have nicknamed themselves ''rapist'' to interact with members, without any age checks to protect minors.

I joined this server while waiting to leave a hospital, in the rules you had to submit a ticket that asked what you thought veganism was, that you had read the rules, and to mention something about bushes. As it was broken up into 2 main sections, I was under the assumption there would be 2 sections of the ticket to fill out; this was not the case. At that moment I had to leave hospital and in a hurry forgot to include the bit about bushes and put my phone in my pocket. This resulted in the staff labelling me a troll and barring access from most of the server. I explained that I thought it was in multiple sections and could put it all in one message if they desired, but they called me a liar because I was not quick enough at amending my answer, and when I said that I had more pressing issues at hand over their discord server they called me a liar again, insinuating I made up being in hospital. The entire interaction was horrifically bad faith and belittling, with them saying they would only reconsider if I called myself a liar and beg for forgiveness.

I understand vegan servers get a lot of trolls but this is still no way to treat fellow members of your community, and by scrolling up in chat this was evidently a repeated behaviour. I honestly find it impressive how the staff are so insistent on power play while not doing the bare minimum to protect minors on their server 🤷
