Definitely not the worst, but needs improvement!

After being in this server for almost 7 months, I’m deciding to leave and share my experience as to help others when deciding whether to join! Apologies for the long review, I like to be specific. I hope to keep my review honest and respectful!
The final thing that pushed me to leave was the server owner allowing in a new member who was blatantly homophobic and transphobic and didn’t immediately take action on that user when they started sharing homophobic beliefs. The owner is not homophobic or transphobic from what I've experienced, action was taken on the user but it was only after I said something to the admin privately.
The good:
- There's a verification system for artists and streamers before they can advertise
- The admin is one of the kindest friends I've made in the streaming space and attentive to server issues when they are able to be
- There's a spot to ask for streaming help
What needs improvements:
- Pings o' plenty. I have been pinged many times asking me to boost the server, this continued despite my suggesting that they not do so. The artist role is also pinged asking artists to post their advertisements, I usually ignored that. The 'featured creator' feature of the server is on pause but the pings are not so the role for that is pinged many times for when the permanent featured creator goes live. (I also suggested they pause those pings but nothing was done)
- The owner in particular likes messing with scammers / trolls before banning them. This still continued after I suggested they just ban those accounts on sight.
- This server is regarded as an "art community" but for the most part no one cares about each others art. I once posted and immediately got ignored and posted over 3 minutes later. People genuinely don’t care about each others work and it shows.
- There looks to have been an art contest held in February where members were encouraged to make emotes for the server. It looks like the winner was never announced so the artists are currently left uncompensated.
- I joined a stream collaboration that was being hosted by the server owner but I feel the planning was poorly organized. New players kept getting added the day before the stream and only the admin showed up for pre-stream prep without needing to be pinged.
