The Empty Lands

The Empty Lands is a world made mostly of forests, lakes, oceans, and villages. Unlike most worlds, it remains undeveloped, with technology like guns being far beyond reach. The people of this world have different beliefs gods, evolution, and other ideas but many eventually come to believe in Mother, the goddess who created the world and everything within it.

Legends say Mother sends heroes into the world to fight the evil that lurks within it. The greatest threat is the Demon King, a gruesome villain who has existed since the dawn of time. Some say he was once a hero himself, but after the world turned its back on him, he became the darkness he once fought.

As the world began to lose hope, Mother gifted humanity with magic the power and abilities needed to stand against the Demon King.

Will the heroes save the world, or will they fall into the hands of darkness?
