In 1993, Dr. Alan Grant the famous paleontologist and Dr. Ellie Sattler a well respected paleobotanist both attended jurassic park after receiving the invitation of Hammond to inspect the dinosaurs and the ecosystem he had created, Dr. Ian Malcolm, a chaos theorist also attended largely at the insistence of the investors and their lawyer, Donald Gennaro. Malcolm was already a critic of the project, so his opinion was seen as an independent test of whether the park was truly safe.

After their safe inspection of the park, Hammond received endorsement from Dr. Alan Grant and the Paleobotanist Dr. Ellie Sattler, whilst Malcom still offered criticism even he could not deny that the park had ultimately passed the inspection and so jurassic park with Hammond's investors satisfied, opened to paying guests. InGen became one of the most powerful companies in the world practically overnight and dinosaurs became the biggest attraction on planet earth.

Recently, workers have been noticing some dinosaurs developing unexpected behavior, specifically the velociraptors however Dr. Henry Wu insits its nothing to worry about. Corporate cost-cutting weakening safety measures have also become a worry though only among the higher ranking staff members, phew know of Ingens greed.

In dark facilities underground or far away from the park on the island, secret tests are also conducted on new hybrids, Dr. Henry wu envisions them as the future star attraction.

Lewis Dodgson, head of product development and corporate espionage for BioSyn has been tasked by his company to steal dinosaur genetic information and possibly live embryos, currently he is leading a Biosyn team on nublar under Ingens nose and hopes to complete his task.
