Westeros has, for the last century, seen the hand of the Tyrells on the Throne. A chain reaction started with the rise of the Baratheon Dynasty in Westeros. In 299 AC, after the beginning of the Baratheon Dynastic Struggle between the Baratheons of King's Landing and the Baratheons of the Narrow Sea, a disruption would flip Westeros on her head. A mistake made by the Queen Dowager Cersei Lannister would see the destruction of both houses, alongside the old Capital of King's Landing and the House of Lannister . A later arrival by the Tyrells would see no king left standing. Thus, the Council of 300 AC would be planned at the Castle of Rosby. Therein, the Lords present would choose to elect Mace Tyrell as the new King of Westeros

In 400, the King is ailing, with four daughters and No sons. By the laws of Viserys II, the crown would pass to the eldest Tyrell Cadet, however, Renly, seeking to amend the law, chose in the Edict of 390 to restore Andalic sucession to the Throne, allowing Daughters to come before sons. Westeros, however, grows more concerned by the day. With marriages to Lord Paramounts, Scheming Second sons, and a Royal Bastard beginning to hold sway, Westeros now is positioned for a new wave of Dynastic Warfare in the outlook of the End of Summer.
