When the Sun Goes Down is a slice-of-life roleplay with horror themes involving the occult. It is an 18+ literate roleplay server, and we do not allow any sort of NSFW content within the server. The server is new and open to all, and we require a roleplay example on entry into the server.

THE SERVER'S LORE:

The year is currently 1986, and the town of Morrow is located in Marion County, Arkansas. Located almost twenty minutes from the Missouri border, it is a small agricultural town with a population of 551. Nestled among the rolling hills of northern Arkansas’s mountains, Morrow is hidden away from the rest of society, living largely off of their own means and the small grocery store in town. To any outsider, Morrow seems like the perfect spot to get away from your problems, to head out into the woods for a decent bit of camping, but there is a secret deep in the overgrowth.

Over the last few years, there have been mysterious disappearances across town, and most people who head into the woods when the sun goes down have been victims of such disappearances. However, the citizens of the town who have gone into the woods and come back often report strange sightings within the trees. Large bonfires with no one around, strange pagan symbols made of sticks and bones hanging lowly from trees, and runes dug into the bark are some of the reports, though some people have even talked about loud chanting and cloaked figures, whispers from all around, and a sudden silence that seems to echo in your ears.
