Wayfarer is a Minecraft server conceived as a social and political experiment inspired by Paradox Interactive strategy games. In this world, legitimacy, alliances, and conflicts emerge organically. The Staff does not intervene in local disputes: the international order is created and defended by the players themselves, transitioning from total anarchy to constitutional monarchies.What makes us different?Limited World & Real Geopolitics: The map features strict border limitations (Squaremap). To be officially recognized as a sovereign State and stop being a "Paria" (Outcast), you need the diplomatic backing of three pre-existing nations. Decentralized Justice: War crimes and global disputes are judged in a collegiate Higher Tribunal. Cases are handled by randomly selected judges and a popular jury of active citizens, completely free of Staff intervention. Regulated Warfare & Intrigue: Minor skirmishes are permitted, but conquests and the destruction of infrastructure require a formal war justification (Casus Belli) managed through the Staff. Logistics & Pure Effort: There are no Elytras and no End dimension. Overland transportation (roads and checkpoints) defines geopolitical power.Multilingual Community & Proximity: Real diplomacy is emulated using Proximity Voice Chat. English serves as the daily lingua franca, while Spanish stands as the supreme institutional and legal language. We also host dedicated channels for French, Italian, and Polish communities. The server is currently in its technical and map development phase, with no fixed release date.
