After the year 2035, it appeared as though moral values once preached so confidently had begun to erode. Humanity did not trust the way they did before. What had remained was a growing scene of division, replaced by resentment and hostility that bled into everyday life. The familiar sense of order and peace had been swapped for distrust and uncertainty. The world had not collapsed in an instant, but rather gradually as the loss of life became a constant presence and chaos followed soon thereafter.
The world was not a peaceful place anymore.

A pristine white letter sat neatly folded, sealed at its center with a golden stamp. On the opposite side, your name was inscribed in elegant cursive fancy enough to marvel at, yet clear enough for the postman to read and deliver without a struggle.
And in the upper-left corner rested the name of the sender: the Moral Values Association. The MVA.

The letter informed you that you had been selected to join the First Generation of the Virtuous - a group of individuals deemed exemplary in both talent and perceived moral standing. It spoke of an opportunity to become something meaningful in the shaping of a better future. By the time you set the letter down, the decision already felt as though it were made for you.
