めくる Reading Club

What a gem this is. I'd been looking for a community focused specifically on Japanese reading, a niche within a niche, and I couldn't be happier at finding this cozy community. Everyone has been kind, helpful, and responsive, and events are always happening to encourage a daily reading habit. I'm looking forward to making a home here and sharing a love of books together!

Events of all kinds, from reading-together sessions to cooperative and competitive activities, are held very regularly to suit anyone's time zones. めくる's supportive and encouraging atmosphere is great to talk and discuss books. Thanks to joining this server, I was able to improve my reading skills and build a solid reading routine. So if you are interested in Japanese literature, this is truly going to be an amazing server for you!! ^^

If you enjoy reading books in Japanese, join this server!! Joining the group reading sessions to quietly read with other people has been great for pushing myself to read longer. It's also fun to increase my reading time in the server and earn the cute badges. I like seeing what other people are reading and their thoughts on their books; that and the monthly book is great for finding new stuff to read. Now is a really good time to join since we've started two really cute events (a team vs team reading competition and a word hunt bingo), as well as the new book of the month. Everyone is very friendly and welcoming too!
