Folkvang Valley Ecological Reserve (FVER) is a strict realism wolf server centered around the concept of a monitored wildlife reserve with Nordic/Viking elements. Players take on the role of tracked wolves within a managed conservation population, allowing researchers to observe pack formation, territory development, and natural wolf behavior over time.

Our systems aim to reflect how real wildlife reserves and conservation programs operate while still keeping gameplay engaging and fun. Each wolf is assigned a research identification tag when their profile is registered, based on the order individuals enter the monitored population.

The server primarily focuses on Canis lupus lupus — the Eurasian wolf, a subspecies commonly found throughout Northern Europe and often referenced in historical folklore. While Eurasian wolves are encouraged to maintain the feeling of a controlled research population, other wolf subspecies are still welcome.

Within Folkvang Valley, players can experience the life of a wolf through:

• Courting mates and raising pups
• Realistic aging and natural mortality
