You lived in Westerlund, a somewhat populous town in mid-California. You needed a job, so you applied to a position at South Westerlund Mall, a mega-mall with five floors. It paid fine, so you did your job fine. One day, you were working a closing shift, the only one in your store. The lights went off, but you assumed it was just the mall shutting down, so you finished closing and tried to leave. Unfortunately, the door was locked, and you heard footsteps behind you.
