That’s why I’m proud to talk about my amazing and fun Oklahoma-based Discord server, a space that has grown into a vibrant digital community specifically built for furries, LGBTQ+ individuals, and anyone else seeking connection, laughter, and belonging.

A Safe Space in the Midwest
Being LGBTQ+ or a furry in a conservative area like parts of Oklahoma can be tough. Many of us have faced rejection, misunderstanding, or even hostility in our day-to-day lives. This server became a lifeline for people who needed somewhere to be fully themselves—no code-switching, no hiding, no masks. Just real, authentic connection.

We enforce clear rules about respect, consent, and inclusion, so people feel safe to open up. Whether someone is sharing their coming-out story, posting furry art, ranting about school or work, or asking for mental health support, they know they’ll be met with kindness and understanding. That culture of empathy is something we work hard to protect and nurture every day.

Sometimes there are heated debates about snacks, or wild roleplay scenarios, or someone accidentally summoning a bot army in general chat (yes, that happened). It’s weird in the best way.
