Gundam: Fractured Destinies

Synopsis
In a far-future, humanity has expanded across every planet and moon in the solar system, building vast colonies and forging new societies. Thirty years have passed since the last great war, primarily between the Terran Assembly and The Helios Spindle Accord, and though the bloodshed has ended, true peace remains elusive. The Terran Assembly, Earth’s dominant governing body, clings tightly to control over the Inner Colonies, while the Helios Spindle Accord, an advanced spacefaring power, born in the outer system, pushes for independence and post-human progress. Tensions simmer beneath a fragile ceasefire, though political sabotage, and continuing territorial/legal disputes continue just out of the public eye. And among the political/social disputes are the differing opinions and treatment of Variants, humans who fall outside the traditional sense of what is considered human. This includes clones, artifical, newtypes and Therotypes. Amid this uneasy peace, mobile suits, once tools of war, have found new life in illegal duels, high-risk races, and other recreational activities. Lost relics hidden in debris fields and forgotten bases: mobile suits of impossible power and mysterious design; Gundams. Some see them as weapons of mass destruction that will bring forth a cataclysm, while others see them as legends like that of ancient mythical heroes. However... all know one thing: whoever controls a Gundam may tip the balance of power in the solar system forever.
