Shadow inhabits every corner of the galaxy. The enemies of mankind rely on this darkness, they feel that it is safe for them. They feel that not even the unquenchable fire of the Imperium can reach them there. But we exist to make them fear even what they think to be their sanctuary! We exist to be the dagger that seeks them out even in the blackest of nights!

We are the 19th Legion. We operate in shadow, far from any record or credit. We exist to be the Emperor’s sharpest scalpel, his most finely honed blade forged in the fires of Isstvan V. We seek not glory or acclaim for our actions. Our actions are simply the necessary ones, and nothing more. Our actions are not heroics, they are our duty! Our duty to not only our chapter and our primarch, but our duty to the entire Imperium of Mankind!
