Broken Justice

It was 1908 when a strange "meteor" crashed in the remote wilderness of Tunguska, Russia. The explosion obliterated over 800 square miles of forest, but more mysteriously, it released an otherworldly spore into the atmosphere. Fast forward to 1980, scientists, intrigued by the peculiar properties of the spore, traced its origins back to the impact site. They hypothesized that this spore might have jump-started humanity's next stage of evolution—some even referred to it as a divine gift from their respective deities.

Now, at least 20% of humanity possesses some form of ability, ranging from minor enhancements to powers of unimaginable destruction. This sudden emergence of abilities has transformed society in profound ways. While it has given rise to a surge in crime, emboldened by newfound powers, it has also sparked the rise of heroes both big and small who strive to restore balance.

As the lines between heroism and villainy blur, communities wrestle with their new reality. Some celebrate the opportunities these abilities present, while others fear the consequences of unchecked power. The world stands at a crossroads, where the struggle for identity, morality, and purpose unfolds against the backdrop of a society forever changed. Who will you choose to be?
