Vethera

We are a D&D 2014 5e* westmarch server set in our homebrew living world, Vethera. Characters start out in the small town of Asterfell, a previously abandoned fort being now rebuilt.

By joining Vethera, you will be able to:
‣ Roleplay in Asterfell, building relationships with other characters and interacting with a living world where actions have consequences.
‣ Put your character's skills to work to contribute to the town's development and unlock new resources, RP opportunities or quest hooks.
‣ Buy property for your character to own their own house, or run their own business.
‣ Buy or craft mundane and magic items appropriate to your character's level.
‣ Participate in quests to stave off the undead threat, or discover new places.

What do we offer?
‣ 2 character slots per player.
‣ Daily games with a variety, such as social sessions or long-haul series of quests leading back to the central plot.
‣ Custom levelling table that lets your character progress based on quest participation.
‣ Job system providing regular XP and gold.
‣ Crafting system providing access to magic items.
‣ Homebrew-friendly.
‣ New RP locations progressively unlocked through quests and the job system.
‣ Fleshed out world with rich lore that will inform your character's backstory.
‣ Comprehensive wiki containing detailed rules and lore.
‣ Run by a team of volunteers.

*Our server is primarily run under the 2014 edition of 5e rules. If elements from the 2024 edition wish to be considered for your character, we allow for them to be submitted as "homebrew," though it is not guaranteed they will be allowed.

Though this server only allows players 18+ years of age, this is not an explicit RP server.
